Floyd Hand's 455

The 462 engine in Floyd Hand's 1966 LeMans is very similar to Jim Hand's setup. Floyd says, "Why try to develop something different when Jim's engine runs so well at such a reasonable cost?" It has a very strong power range from idle to 5500 rpm and idles smoothly with Rhoads lifters. His LeMans is fully equipped with bucket seats and a custom floor shifter. It is painted Porsche red.

Floyd graciously provided the following information and photos to share with musclecar enthusiasts who visit the Pontiac Street Performance website. Thanks Floyd.

Floyd's mods in black existed in '97. '98 mods are noted in red. Check out Floyd's mods for 2002.
